Save Brandon's Park Community Centre

Park Community Centre is an important piece of Brandon's past, present and future - a building that has serviced our community for many decades with economical hall rentals for sporting events, charities, socials, rummage sales, concerts and community group meetings. It is a vibrant and busy place that serves as a hub for community in Brandon's downtown.

In recent months it has come to light that the City of Brandon wishes to demolish the Park Community Centre, citing "costly repairs" as a reason to do so. In our opinion, the amount of money needed to repair the community centre is well within reason and within the grasp of our community, and that simple neglect is the reason the Centre has been placed in this situation.

So we're asking our community and neighbours the City of Brandon to help us raise some funds to repair floor beams and other parts of the Centre, which will show the city in no uncertain terms that the Park CC will not be demolished!
