Edinburgh Literary Salon is an informal community group run by volunteers, bringing together people from all strands of the literary scene in Edinburgh and beyond. We don’t receive any public funding and finance this free event through the generosity of individuals as well as our own projects.
We get a slow trickle of cash through donations, books sales, and our Buy us a Coffee scheme, but large expenses such as subscriptions for Zoom, Mailchimp, and Wix are becoming increasingly hard to finance. We need £360 per year to run our WEBSITE – an essential tool for marketing, bookselling, and reaching out to our literary community.
Each monthly Salon event is listed on our Events & News page where we also post reviews. You can read about our publishing collaborations on Anthologies & Projects, and purchase copies of our anthologies from our Shop. There is a Contact Us form, and we send a couple of mailshots per month with details of our events plus selected literary notes of interest.
Edinburgh Literary Salon is a monthly meeting-point for anyone interested in the Literary Arts, at whatever level. We meet mostly on the last Tuesday of each month, and we wish to keep registration to all our events free.
