Local pub landlord Jake will be walking from punch pubs headquarters (burton upon Trent) all the way back to his pub in Shefford (Bedfordshire). He will start on Friday 12th December and arrive back in Shefford on Sunday 14th December) and will be doing this dressed as Santa, all to raise vital funds for Shefford Christmas lights community fund, to allow the lights to keep shining bright year upon year. Shefford Christmas lights are not funded by the council and it relies on a local team of volunteers to plan, purchase and put up the amazing display our local town have. Unfortunately over time lights have broken and are in need of replacement, this along with rising costs means that raising these vital funds will allow Shefford to be lit up year after year for everyone to enjoy!
