To our Cottontail Community and Friends,
Cottontail is preparing for a major capital improvement project to replace the aging plaster, tile, and coping in both the baby and main pool. These upgrades are essential to protect the pool structure, improve swimmer safety, and eliminate the sharp, worn surfaces that lead to the infamous “pool toe.”
Our Goal: We are aiming to raise at least 25% of the total project cost through community support. Every contribution - big or small - helps us complete this critical upgrade while still covering our regular operating expenses.
If each member donated $100, we would reach our goal.
Please consider sharing this campaign with former members, local businesses, and neighbors who may want to support our pool and community.
Why this Project Matters:
Replaster
- Creates a smooth, safe surface (goodbye, pool toe!)
- Prevents leaks and protects the concrete shell
- Extends the life of the pool
Recope
- Replaces the edging around the pool
- Restores a safe, non‑slip grip for hands and feet
- Prevents structural damage
Retile
- Removes sharp, aging tile edges
- Improves swimmer safety
- Protects the pool structure from long‑term wear
We love Cottontail! We are a place where families gather, kids learn to swim, friendships grow, and memories last a lifetime. Your support ensures Cottontail remains a thriving, safe, and welcoming community space for many summers ahead.
As a 501c(7) organization, donations to Cottontail Swim and Racquet Club are not tax deductible.
