I am Haya Murtaja, a wife and mother of two daughters, Sham and Maryam.

Since the beginning of the war, we have been displaced from Gaza, displaced, and lost our home, life, and dreams We lived from house to class, in school, to a small market, to a tent. We tasted all kinds of homelessness, displacement, hunger, cold, and fear.

I used to work in a large company in Gaza that was destroyed at the beginning of the war.

In addition, I lost my job as a singer and the studio where I used to perform my vocal work.

I am contacting you urgently as my family is facing the devastating impact of the ongoing war in Gaza. Our house is in ruins, we have lost our jobs, and we are in desperate need of your help to ensure the safety and security of my family. My daughters have suffered a lot in this war, especially since we now live in a camp, a small tent

, and an unhealthy and unsuitable environment. My eldest daughter, Sham, would wake up screaming in fear. She slept with her hands over her ears so that she would not hear the sounds of rockets and shells. My children are always sick due to immunodeficiency and the healthy environment

. The war has made us unable to provide a healthy environment for our two little girls.

2023 was Sham’s first academic year in school. She was deprived of education. I hope to compensate for this academic world that Sham was deprived of and enroll her in a private school where she learns and plays as is every child’s right.

We need your support to survive the Gaza war and find a safe area for temporary travel there, as each person amounts to thousands of dollars, and this is impossible to provide because we are without work, in addition to helping us provide a decent life and continue to survive. With your support, we will be able to start again, travel, and educate my child, Sham. And also providing a home and work, buying the necessities of life such as food, clothes, etc., and rebuilding the future and dreams. We do not think about ourselves, we only want to help our displaced and dispersed families because the catastrophe of the war on Gaza affected all people, young and old, and destroyed their lives،،
