Save our Small Hall!
Many of you will know St. Giles Small Hall in the heart of Scartho. It’s a light, airy building with a cosy feel, ideal for family celebrations and smaller group activities.
However, it now feels increasingly out-dated and dilapidated.
Extensive renovation is necessary, including replacing the toilets, heating, windows, flooring and insulation, as well as extending the kitchen. By adding a patio and patio doors as well, we can create a much more modern, accessible and sustainable building.
This project will require a LOT of funding! The tender is £161,995 plus VAT. The church council have pledged £20,000, and we are applying for grants. We are holding a coffee morning each month, and other community fundraising events are planned. To date we have pledges of £36,218. We are asking you to add to that with your donations.
Please help us to save the Small Hall!
Thank you!
