Hi, we are the committee of Lalor Warriors Cricket Club. Our club has a historical debt that we weren't aware of and once we were made aware we have been diligently paying it off, reducing it by 25% within a year. However, the council wants a more aggressive payment plan which our cricket club cannot afford.

The options remaining are:

Pay the full debt within 6 months or shut our doors permanently.

Lalor Warriors has been around the community for 76 years! This year we reintroduced Under 10s after 15 years and surprisingly we have 2 teams. We want to keep the doors open for these kids and the wider community that has been supporting us.

If it wasn't for the aggressive payback, we would have repaid this debt. That's our number 1 priority as the committee.

We are going to be doing various fundraisers, reaching out to our sponsors but we really need your help to make this achievable.
