I have worked for a local childcare facility on and off for the last 20 years. The church we are a part of voted last Sunday to close their doors, which unfortunately means that we will be forced to close as well. Our childcare facility has been a part of the community for over 30 years and has been home to thousands of children, myself included. We are set to close on Friday, August 1st unless our director, Shae Angwin, is able to secure financing for the property.

There are over 20 women who work here, which include single mothers, one-income families, and widows, and we currently have over 100 families that depend on our services. I can’t imagine the turmoil that this will cause. We need prayers, and lots of them! Any donation is greatly appreciated.
