Hello followers of Aiden Kim and Iam.from.Korea!

The owners of Oishi Sushi in Glendale, two Korean immigrants aged 70 and 66, are currently facing significant challenges in sustaining their restaurant business. Despite their best efforts, they have been experiencing financial losses and have been unable to pay rent for the past three months. Consequently, they have had to reduce their workforce due to the challenging business environment.

The COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with a breast cancer diagnosis and intensified competition in the area, has compounded these difficulties. In response to these challenges, we are committed to providing support to the owners and employees of Oishi Sushi.

Our primary objective is to increase foot traffic to their restaurant and offer a modest financial assistance to help cover rent expenses. Additionally, we recognize the sacrifices made by their employees, who has to receive reduced wages to support the restaurant’s survival.
