This is our ongoing campaign to raise funds to support our mission of Preservation, Interpretation, and Education. Your support helps our Foundation in many ways - from adding more interpretive signs, printing driving tour brochures, saving the ground of Ohio's only significant Civil War battlefield, to paying for our website.

The Buffington Island Battlefield Preservation Foundation was formed to preserve, interpret, and increase public understanding and knowledge of the Battle of Buffington Island. Not only is this a significant site for John H. Morgan and his raiders, but two future United States presidents were in this battle: Rutherford B. Hayes and William McKinley.
