My name is Nizar Qdeih. I am 17 years old, and I live in Gaza. Today, I am reaching out with a heavy heart and desperate hope.
Life here has become unbearable. Hunger is not just something we feel — it is something that is destroying us day by day. I have younger brothers and sisters who look up to me, and all I want is to protect them and provide for them. But I can no longer find food to feed them. Every night they go to sleep crying, their stomachs empty, and I cannot describe the pain I feel as their older brother watching them suffer this way.
I spend every day searching — searching for food, searching for clean water, searching for any way to ease their pain. But the truth is, there is no solution here. Supplies are gone, opportunities are gone, and hope feels like it is slipping away. My siblings are weak, their cries from hunger pierce my heart, and I am running out of options.
This is why I am turning to you, with all the sincerity I have: please help me. Please help my siblings. I am begging you not for myself, but for their survival. Your kindness could mean the difference between life and death for us in Gaza right now.
I swear to you, every word I say is the truth. Hunger is killing us. Please, if you can, extend your hand to save my family. May God bless you for any compassion you show in this time of suffering.
