New Hartley Residents Club has been at the heart of our village for generations.

It’s more than just a building, it’s where memories are made. From band nights and Monday bingo, to our buskers evening for local talent, kids’ dance sessions, summer BBQs and Santa visits at Christmas, the Club has always been a place where everyone is welcome.

Almost every person in the village has a story connected to the Club. It’s where friendships have started, families have gathered, and community spirit has been kept alive for decades.

The Club urgently needs financial support. The Committee is working hard to reopen the doors, but solicitor fees are starting to add up. Legal costs mount quickly and every day the Club remains closed, it loses more income that would normally help keep it running - making it even harder to recover.

We’re asking anyone who can to donate whatever they’re able - no matter how small- to help cover the solicitor fees needed to get the Club back open.

We’ve set a goal of £5,000, and every penny raised will go directly towards these legal costs. If we’re fortunate enough to raise more than is needed for the solicitors, the remaining amount will go towards helping the Club get back on its feet and return to serving the community.

There is absolutely no obligation to donate. But if you’re able to, your support could make the difference between losing the Club forever… or bringing it back as the beating heart of New Hartley.
