My Story of Pain and Loss
When you lose everything because of war…
When every path to life is closed before you, and each day becomes unbearable when your mind is on the verge of breaking from helplessness and grief that is, in short, my story.
I once lived in a beautiful four-story home filled with warmth and love.
There, I shared a simple yet peaceful life with my wife, children, and grandchildren.
But suddenly, without warning, Israeli bombardment erased everything.
Our home our years of effort, memories, and safety was reduced to a pile of rubble, to dust without shape or meaning.
We did not lose walls alone; we lost security, memories, and the stability we had built over a lifetime.

From that moment, our journey of displacement and suffering began without shelter, without income, and without the basic necessities of life.
We moved from one place to another, following repeated evacuation orders,
and each time we lost whatever little we had left.
Each displacement cost us thousands of dollars for transportation, tents, and renting land
until I finally lost everything I owned.

Today, I suffer from high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, liver enlargement, and spinal disc problems.
I need constant medication, which comes at a cost I can no longer afford.

I have three children studying at universities
one of them is studying medicine at Alexandria University in Egypt
and they all require high expenses to continue their education.

And above all this pain, I lost my son, Dr. Mohammed, may he rest in peace.
His death broke my heart and deepened the weight of our sorrow, poverty, and displacement.

Now, I have no home to shelter my family and me,
no means to afford treatment, food, or university fees for my children.
Every day, I live my pain and search for a glimmer of hope for a hand extended in compassion.
Therefore, I appeal to all people of conscience and kind hearts everywhere:
please help me secure a modest home for my family,
help me afford my medical treatment,
and allow my children to continue their education
so that we may regain a small part of our dignity after the war has taken everything from us.
