My name is Khaled Sukkar, a displaced Gazan living in Egypt. I am hoping to raise funds collectively for my family in Cairo and my family in Gaza, who are currently living on top of the rubble of their destroyed homes.

My family in Egypt consists of 11 family members who have endured immense suffering since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023. My brother, his wife, and my son have all been injured during intense airstrikes last year and still have not fully recovered.

We lost everything during this war—our houses, our belongings, and our loved ones. And with several displacements, we were only able to carry the basic necessities with us. Despite everything, we endured and held on, hoping for relief.

We found a glimmer of hope and managed to travel to the Arab Republic of Egypt through Rafah Crossing Border in April 2024. This marked the beginning of a new and even more challenging phase. We have faced the humiliation of struggling for housing, food, drink, clothing, and basic needs.

While the kind and generous Egyptian people have welcomed us and supported us with aid, we continue to face immense challenges to find stability as a displaced community with no services, while trying to help our family members survive in Gaza.

Our beloved family members are in danger every day, starving under bombardment, with the prices of food being sky high. As we put our faith in God, we hope you can kindly donate whatever you can.

The funds will be transferred to Egypt by my mother, who will receive the funds in her bank account.
