I am Samah, a mother of three children… Zeina is 8 years old, Mohammed is 5, and little Ella is just 2. We live in Gaza, but life here no longer feels like life. Every day we wake up with no food to feed our children, and not even clean water to give them.

I am Fadi, their father… I don’t have a job. I’ve tried everything, but there are no opportunities, no income. I carry the burden of my children every minute. It breaks me to see my little girl crying from hunger, and I can’t do anything.

Zeina is only 8, but her eyes look older than her years from all the worry. Mohammed has gone quiet from hunger. And Ella wakes up at night screaming, and we don’t know what to do… we can’t even afford milk for her.

We’re not people who like to ask for help, but the circumstances have crushed us. All we dream of is to feed our children, to give them the basic rights they deserve — to eat, to drink, to sleep safely.
