⛳ Save the Mt. Whitney Golf Club #forethefuture

Play a role in Lone Pine history, and help revive Mt. Whitney Golf Club — Every Dollar Matched Up to $100K!

Nestled between the Eastern Sierra and Inyo Mountains, the Mt. Whitney Golf Club has been a Lone Pine cornerstone since 1958. With panoramic views of the tallest peak in the Lower 48, a historic 9-hole layout, and decades of small-town spirit, this course is more than just a place to play—it’s a part of our culture.

Now, we’re inviting you to be part of its comeback story.

Thanks to an incredible donor, every dollar you contribute will be matched up to $50,000. And if we hit our goal of $100,000, they’ll match the full amount—doubling your impact to $200,000.

Why Now?

The course was built with passion—drained from swamp, a renowned golf architect to lead, sculpted with borrowed bulldozers and local hands , and even outfitted with a clubhouse moved from nearby Keeler. For decades, it has served as a space for family outings, community events, Highway 395 road trip stops, and unforgettable views under Mt. Whitney’s shadow.

Now, with additional leadership in place—bringing expertise in golf operations, marketing, administration and business development—we’re committed to restoring this iconic course and making it sustainable for future generations.
