HELP US KEEP Montclair Pride ALIVE

For five years, Out Montclair has worked to create spaces where LGBTQIA+ people, families, youth, seniors, and allies feel seen, celebrated, and safe.

Today, we need your help.

Like many Pride organizations across the country, Montclair Pride 2026 is facing major financial challenges due to rising production costs and a significant decline in corporate sponsorship support.

After extensive discussions with Township officials, public safety partners, and our Board of Directors, Montclair Pride has been tentatively postponed to August 1, 2026. This additional time gives us the opportunity to raise the funds necessary to deliver the safe, successful, and free community celebration our region deserves.

Montclair Pride is more than a festival.

It is a visible declaration that LGBTQIA+ people belong here.

Every year, thousands gather together in joy, visibility, advocacy, and connection under our message:

BE YOU. BE HEARD.

Our immediate goal is to raise $55,000 to help offset the mandatory public safety and operational costs associated with producing Montclair Pride, including:

• Police coverage

• Firefighters

• EMS and emergency services

• Other required municipal services

Every dollar raised will go directly toward these required safety expenses for Montclair Pride 2026.

Out Montclair has made the conscious decision to keep Montclair Pride free rather than shifting these costs onto attendees through admission fees. We believe Pride should remain accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Now we are asking our community to help make that possible.
