*Please note: The funds raised here on GoFundMe do not represent the total amount raised via offline efforts by the Camaron Springs and Wynterset Lakes subdivisions. The total amount with donors' names will be listed here.
A small section of Mink Livsey road is approved for the development of 150 new homes, 300 new cars and 300 - 400 more students in their schools if Gwinnett County. This forested area holds a wealth of natural beauty, a cemetary and cultural artifacts from Native American and early county history. This will be destroyed or damaged during the several years of construction that is necessary to build these homes. We WILL be living in a construction zone, experience increased commute times and lower property values if these high-density homes are built as planned.
This fund is for legal counsel to represent our neighborhoods in this battle to protect our community. A few facts:
1. We've hired Chuck Ross of Powell & Edwards to represent our neighborhoods.
2. The Board of Commissioners will decide to vote October 22, 2019. It's not likely that the Board of Commissioners will decide in our favor. We will need to continue the legal battle through the courts following the Oct. 22 meeting.
3. This effort is volunteer-run by a few of your neighbors in Camaron Springs, Wynterset Lakes, Innsbrook, Eagles Landing and GrayCliff. All funds will be deposited into the Camaron Springs HOA account which is managed by Gail Burgess (Thank you!)
