Max passed away: please help with his vet costs.

Donation protected
Today May 1: Max kept me a lot of company at work, so it feels really lonely with out him.

last update: Max didn’t make it. He passed away. Thank you for everyone who was supportive.

Afternoon Update: his sugar levels have not increase and are are very low, at 28, even though he had glucose through IV all night.

I have spoken to three vets who agreed that he is pass saving. He has suffered brain damage as well.

This is incredibly upsetting for all of us.

Thank you

Update on Max – 4/29

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, shared, and prayed for Max. Your support means more than you can imagine.

Max is still hospitalized in the ICU. He’s fighting harder than ever.
He received a plasma transfusion, is on oxygen support, and multiple medications through two IVs.
He is still responsive, but his condition remains critical. He’s battling severe sepsis, pneumonia, and FIP — and tonight he suffered facial seizures, a sign of how hard his little body is struggling.

The ICU team is doing everything they can to stabilize him.
The goal is to slowly wean him off some of the emergency interventions if his body can start healing on its own.
We know the odds are against him, but Max is not giving up — and neither are we.

We are continuing to fight for Max with everything we have.
Please continue to pray, share, donate if you can, and keep sending him strength.
Every act of kindness gives Max one more moment to fight.

Thank you for being part of Max’s army.
We love you all.

Help Save Max: Our Brave Kitten Fighting for His Life

Hi everyone,
We are a loving family of 7 — two parents, five amazing kids, our sweet cat Rayla, two bearded dragons, and now our little warrior Max.

Max is our 4-month-old kitten who has brought so much joy and love into our lives. Just a few days ago, he was a playful, cuddly ball of energy — chasing toys, curling up on laps, and stealing our hearts.

But Max was suddenly diagnosed with wet FIP, a devastating illness that without immediate treatment is always fatal.
Before we could even catch our breath, things got worse — Max developed severe pneumonia and has now gone into septic shock.
He is fighting for every breath right now in the emergency ICU, surrounded by oxygen tanks, IVs, and monitors.

The ER veterinarians are doing everything possible to save him — he needs intensive critical care:
• 24/7 oxygen support
• Plasma transfusions
• Strong IV antibiotics
• Glucose stabilization
• Constant monitoring

We are not giving up on Max.

He is family.
He’s one of our babies.
And we refuse to give up on someone we love just because the fight is hard.

But the cost of saving Max’s life is more than we can manage alone.

We are facing an estimated $20,000–$25,000 in emergency ICU bills over the next few days.
We have applied for financing, but we desperately need help to cover what’s ahead — every hour counts in giving Max the chance he deserves.

We are humbly asking for your support.
Every donation, every share, every prayer means the world to us and to Max.
We are fighting with everything we have — emotionally, spiritually, financially — because love demands it.

Max’s story isn’t over yet.
Please help us write the next chapter — one filled with life, love, and healing.

From the bottom of our hearts,
Thank you.

— Kat, her husband, our five kids, Rayla the cat, and our two bearded dragons
