Save Margaret's Home

Margaret was severely injured when she was hit by a drunk driver some years back, and she is now on disability. She had to pay many of her medical costs by taking out a loan on her home, where she has lived for 32 years. The loan is now due, and she faces foreclosure this winter.  We hope to pay off her home and other loan costs with the funds we can raise.

We have lowered the goal, because Margaret is pursuing a way to re-finance, which will still cost money, but not as much. She is also worried that asking for the whole amount this time of year is a burden for people. Her loan burden is still $50,000, but she is trying to pursue other options right now.
