It’s been 2 years since we moved in to Mantra Central in Syracuse, NY, a Bhakti Yoga Center, in which we run a non-profit spiritual organization (ISKCON Syracuse) out of a house near Syracuse University.
With the help of a few other committed Bhakti Yogis, it has sprouted into a sincere and wonderful community. This project has given many of us here in Syracuse a deeper life’s purpose and hopefully will only continue to go deeper into the future.

The programs have gone wonderfully in that many (especially us) have become God (Krishna) Conscious and felt the improvement of their lives that Krishna guarantees all who follow his guidance.
It has inspired us to deepen our relationship with God (Krishna) and we’ve had the good fortune to help wonderful friends along the way establish and deepen their relationships as well.

We and some others in the community want to continue this service for generations to come and are working tirelessly to do just that.
Even though we have such a long way to go towards our goal to help build a sustainable Krishna Conscious community in the Central New York area, searching through photos and getting to go back through the time spent here, we have faith that if we continue to just trust and continue with our service, the Lord’s plan will unfold in a way we could never imagine.♀️

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the stalwart generous financial supporter has lost his main source of income that was supporting the project, and needs others to take on responsibility to continue the project.
The community and project management has suggested that we buy the house and take on much of the financial burdens. My wife and I are putting our entire life’s savings, others in the community are helping how they can, so we can manage the financial responsibility of continuing the Mantra Central/ISKCON of Syracuse project come July 15th.

With the help of some dear friends we are raising funds to purchase this home so that we can continue to dedicate its space for daily and weekly programs, ashram students, Prasad distribution, hosting Vaisnavas, book distribution, outreach programs, and most of all creating a sacred space for all who are seeking shelter, truth, and friendship.
The house has 8 rooms that can be utilized for student housing/ air Bnb/ resident housing for a self sustainable way to make the mortgage payments each month. That combined with our catering endeavors and the mercy of the Lord will allow us to make our mortgage/utility payments each month.

We’ve been offered a very generous private mortgage situation and just have to come up with 20% of the total mortgage ($45,000) by July 15th.
Combined with our savings and some generous members of the community, we have already raised $34,000 and should be able to generate another few thousand by then via room rental and catering.

3/4 of the way there and will need help for this last bit unfortunately.
We appreciate everyone’s continued support throughout the years and hope to continue to serve the community to the best of our ability. Any contribution to this project will be greatly appreciated by us and this community. Thank you for your consideration and support! Hare Krishna!
