Help Save Barbara “Bobbie” Frasier’s (Mamaw) Home – WWII Widow, 95 Years Old
My 95-year-old grandmother —Barbara “Bobbie” Frasier— still lives in the little wooden home she shared with my grandfather, Wallace “Brudgie” Frasier, a WWII veteran for over 50 years. Since he passed in 1999, she’s stayed in that same home, full of grace, grit, and unwavering love.
But now, her home is in heartbreaking disrepair. The foundation is rotting. The roof leaks. The plumbing & electrical all has to be upgraded. Her room & bathroom need to be wheelchair accessible & safe. She deserves so much more!
My husband and I are doing the repairs ourselves, but we’ve reached a point where we simply can’t do it all alone. We’re turning to the kindness of others to help us make her home safe again.
Mamaw isn’t just our family’s heart — she’s been the heart of her entire community for decades.
She raised several generations of children, including me.
She opened her home to people in need with no questions asked.
She fed everyone after church every Sunday, like clockwork.
She has always given more than she had and never expected anything in return.
Now it’s our turn to give back to her.
We’re asking for help with building supplies, roofing, plumbing, and accessibility needs — even the smallest donation makes a difference. If you can’t give, please share this story. Every share brings us one step closer to restoring the dignity and safety she so deeply deserves.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you!!
