Hi, my name is Nikki, and my daughter Maisie's 5-month-old Bernedoodle puppy Jinx has been diagnosed with a serious congenital heart condition called Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA). This means her heart has an extra heart vessel that shouldn't be there, and it's causing her heart to work dangerously hard.

If left untreated, this condition can be fatal in as little as a year, but the good news is that it's completely fixable with a minimally invasive procedure. The surgery involves placing a small device to close the PDA and give her a chance at a full, healthy life.

We are hoping to raise funds to cover the procedure, pre-op imaging, post-op follow-up, and medications to stabilize her before surgery. Any donation, big or small, will help give our daughter Maisie's puppy the life-saving care Jinx desperately needs and keep our family whole.
