Save Knowle from the Broadwalk tower-blocks

**Update: we have increased our target this morning (10 Nov) as new docs released via a FOI request have triggered the need for an additional letter to urgently be sent to Bristol City Council. We need to raise an additional £1,500 to pay for this letter. The August FOI showed that Cllr Eddy was deeply involved in planning the u-turn, but these latest docs show that the CEO and Kevin Slocombe (Marvin’s right hand man) were very involved in conversations throughout June. We will hold them to account!**

In 2022, Knowle residents supported our ‘Knowle Deserves Better’ campaign and donated £855 which has been spent on printing and distributing 15,000+ awareness-raising flyers and posters. We won the initial battle, but after a scandalous u-turn we now face a legal battle in order to ensure that the original Dev Control Committee’s refusal is upheld, and that Planning permission is withdrawn.

We therefore need to raise an additional £3000-£5000 on top of the £850 already raised. This will take us to the point where we can access legal aid.

If we find that we cannot raise enough to mount a legal challenge, anyone who donates on/after 7 July 2023 will be given the option to have their donation refunded.
