The Karrayyu, a pastoralist Oromo community living in the Fantalle district, are facing an unimaginable crisis. A devastating earthquake, volcanic eruptions, and severe drought have forced families to flee their homes, leaving them to seek refuge in the wilderness with little to no resources. Their livestock—essential to their way of life—has been lost, and the lack of water and food has made survival even more difficult.
