Jazz House in Pai, Thailand needs your help!
Like the rest of the world, Thailand has been forced to close down since mid-March. For a small tourist town like Pai, the economic consequences are devastating. Now we are asking for your help to keep us afloat until we can welcome you all again!
Jazz House (formerly Edible Jazz) is the oldest operating music venue in town - a true home for musicians and travelers from near and far. Our jungle oasis in the center of town has, over the last decade, become the backbone of the ever-growing northern Thai music community, continually winning awards of excellence from TripAdvisor and mentions from guides such as Lonely Planet.
Since passing the torch to us in 2016, our team, Ying and I have worked tirelessly to present the best experience in live music and nighttime entertainment.
Fast-forward to today - Thailand has had its borders strictly closed to tourists for 7 months now and there is no sign of any change in their policy. We have been forced to remain mostly closed and the bills are piling up.
We understand that everyone around the world is in a similar situation and we tried our best to avoid solving our financial woes with crowdfunding, but it's simply not possible any longer.
We would be so grateful if we can garner the support we need to stay afloat and pay rent for this year, so that we can continue to give back to the music community when the Covid crisis comes to an end.
