For 26 years, Hope Springs Equestrian Therapy has been a place of healing, growth, and connection. We've helped children and adults with cognitive, physical, emotional, and behavioral challenges find strength, confidence, and joy through therapeutic horseback riding. But today, we need your help.

Why We’re Reaching Out

Like many small nonprofits, Hope Springs has been deeply affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing economic challenges. Despite our best efforts, we are no longer receiving enough funding through grants and donations to sustain our operations. Without immediate support, we may be forced to close our doors.

Who We Are

Hope Springs Equestrian Therapy Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Chester Springs, PA. Our mission is to provide high-quality, affordable therapeutic horseback riding and special education in a warm, safe, and supportive environment. We serve individuals with a wide range of disabilities, including:

Many of our horses have been with us for over 20 years. They are older, gentle, and perfectly suited to our riders’ needs—but they require extra care as they age. If we are forced to shut down, these beloved animals will need to be rehomed, and our riders will lose a vital source of therapy and connection.

Our Community

Hope Springs is powered by a small but mighty team of instructors, over 40 volunteers, and our incredible herd of therapy horses. Each horse is handpicked and specially trained to work with individuals with disabilities. Together, we create a space where healing happens—one ride at a time.
