Gloria's Caribbean Cuisine, a community institution (since 1973) was recently shuttered after a long battle with seedy lawyers, deed theft and what Gothamist detailed in an article titled "Gloria's In Crown Heights Abruptly Closes Amid Wild Claims Of Fraud, Deed Theft, And "Cruelty."

We simply can't fathom how the Cumberbatch family could possibly have enough funds to pay $50MM in damages far less legal fees to redeem their family's 40+ year legacy in Brooklyn & beyond.
At request of the community, Little Caribbean NYC is raising a modest sum to contribute to the family's legal fund or any related expenses they need to get things on track.
