Elias was born in the midst of war in Gaza, a young child who had not yet reached his first year. He was born inside a tent that hosted his family, who had been forced to evacuate due to the repeated bombings that destroyed their home. Elias lives with his parents and siblings in harsh and difficult conditions, where fear and anxiety are constant.
As raindrops fall and the sound of bombings rises in the distance, Elias tries to take his first breaths in a world that knows nothing but the language of conflict and destruction. A faint smile quickly forms on his innocent face, expressing his determination to survive and grow.
Elias's family lives in anticipation of hope, hope for the end of the war and for building a better future for themselves. His mother and father are betting on a day when peace will once again shine in Gaza's sky, and Elias and his siblings will return to their destroyed home to reclaim their normal lives. Any money can help him and his family survive.
