The modern world has made it difficult for families to do simple things like cook a healthy dinner, pay the bills, keep up with the house work and still be present with their kids.

In today’s fast paced world it is more and more common that families with children are struggling, living paycheck to paycheck, or worse.

Despite their best efforts and intentions, the kids in those families are growing up with screens or tablets rather than with direction, guidance and support. Little by little this is creating communities that are slowly losing the values that once held them together.

That is why SAVE is here to help.

My name is Daniel Berger and together with my wife, Jolie Berger, we are co-founders of SAVE. A movement created to rebuild the moral and spiritual strength of our children, families, and communities. Sparked by a simple idea- Teach kids to Just Do Good √.

Last year, I was called to leave a successful legal career in New York City. I was called to return to my home in Hawai’i and devote my life to this mission:

Strengthen my home, then strengthen my community, then help strengthen the world.

Today, we are taking the biggest step yet:

Opening our first SAVE Spot in Waipahu, on the island of Oahu, Hawaii — and we need your help.

What Is SAVE?

SAVE is a grass roots, hands-on, heart-centered community movement that gives kids the values and guidance they are craving — and gives parents the support they desperately need. All free of charge to the kids and families.

We teach families fundamentals that build strong lives:

• Respect & Responsibility

• Truth, Integrity & Moral Courage

• Kindness, Unity & Service

• Strength in Body, Mind & Spirit

And we do it through 100% free programs, including:

• Weekly children’s lessons on issues that are not traditionally taught in schools, such as money management skills, proper social media use, nutrition and fitness, to name a few.

• We provide therapeutic support services to children and families struggling with grief and trauma.

• Family service projects (gardening, clean-ups, planting trees)

• Youth fitness & mentorship in the community through physical activities like, surfing, hiking and martial arts.

• Community gatherings

• Hands-on activities that reconnect families

Why Waipahu?

Waipahu is full of beautiful families working hard to give their children a better life. But like everywhere else, the pressures are heavy. That is where SAVE comes in. We offer relief and support for parents and kids. We provide a safe, uplifting, free space where:

• Kids learn real values

• Parents get support

• Families rebuild their connection

• Neighbors come together

• Faith, unity, and community are restored

This is the first full time SAVE facility in the world — the beginning of a ripple that will spread across Hawai‘i and then to every city across the globe.

Our nonprofit organization was created to stand in that gap. We are dedicated to supporting struggling families with essential resources, stability, and compassion when they need it most.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps provide food, emergency assistance, childcare support, and vital services that give families a chance to get back on their feet. Together, we can offer hope, dignity, and a pathway forward to those who need it the most.

We’ve measured our services so you can see exactly what your donation does:

• $25 supports 1 child a day at SAVE which will allow us to provide them with positive therapeutic supports and healing guidance on how to "do good."

• $100 provides supplies to support 1 week of healthy food for their bodies.

• $250 helps to equip our facility with teaching materials and sports gear for youth projects and events in the community.

• $500 sponsors 1 youth for a month of mentorship, training and guidance.

• $1,000 helps to fund our entrepreneurial grants for teens ready to start their own business.

• $2,500 provides a scholarship for a child about to embark on their college education.

• $5,000 helps furnish and build out the Waipahu SAVE Spot.

• $10,000+ fuels our infrastructure and will allow us to expand to other kids and communities.
