Hi, my name is Goedele. I live in Belgium. I am organising this fundraiser for my friend Darine and her family, who live in Gaza. Given the current situation in Gaza, Darine’s family has no income she still in fifth-year medical college, which is why I am starting the fundraiser for them. The money will be collected on a bank account by me, separate from my own, and will be sent to Darine’s family via international bank transfer.
Update 07 March 2026 .....
We are incredibly grateful for every person who has supported our campaign so far. Your kindness truly means the world to our family of seven. ❤️
But we still need help. We are trying to raise enough to help Darine and Ahmad pay their college fees so they can continue their education and keep their dreams alive.
We are also continuing this campaign to cover our basic life needs such as food, medicine, and daily essentials.
Thank you for standing with our family during this difficult time.
My name is Dr. Darine, and I am writing on behalf of my family from the Gaza Strip. Since October 7, 2023, our lives have been torn apart by a war that has taken everything from us. For nearly two years, we have endured conditions no family should ever have to face.
This war did not only destroy our home it stripped us of safety, stability, and the future we worked so hard to build. In Gaza today, there is no reliable access to clean water, adequate food, electricity, education, medicine, or safe shelter. Each day is a struggle to survive, and each night is filled with fear and uncertainty.
I am 22 years old and a fifth-year medical student in al azhar university in Gaza. My dream was to serve my community as a doctor, but the war has disrupted my education and turned my life into a constant fight for survival. Our family is made up of seven members: my brother Ahmed (20) second year BA student also in Al Azhar university in Gaza, my sisters Naden (17), Judy (14), and Maryam (10), along with our beloved parents. Together, we are struggling to meet even our most basic needs.
Today, we share our story not in despair, but with hope. We are asking for your compassion and support. Any donation, no matter how small, can help us cover medical needs, coordination costs, and the basic necessities required to survive. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing our story so it can reach others who may be able to help.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story, for standing with us, and for offering hope in a time when it is so desperately needed.
Thank you
