Save Daphne: Urgent Medical Help Needed

My name is Emilio San Martin. I am a proud, passionate father of 9 rescues, all of whom have rescued me. One of my furbabies, my beloved daughter Daphne, is suddenly battling some manner of neurological illness. Recently, I awoke to find her having a seizure and an inability to stand. When she tried, she would stagger then fall off to the side. She was also hyper-salivating. It was equal parts heartbreaking and frightening.

I rushed her to the animal urgent care closest to me. The fear and heartbreak only grew at that point. The vet there took her to their back examination room. At one point, Daphne's heart rate dropped and the vet came back to discuss if I wanted to perform life-saving efforts. She talked about the possibility of my making the decision to put her down.

Absolutely not. She was going to live. She is my baby. only 16 months old.

I am disabled and currently not working. Through my many challenges, it is my love for my furchildren that keeps me alive. What little money I had went to keeping Daphne alive that day. Thankfully, she pulled through and is safe with me here at our house. But, much work needs to be done. More tests have been ordered to determine what the cause of her seizures and neurological issues are. Just one of those tests is an MRI that is estimated to be just over $2,000 alone. There are more test and the costs of initially prescribed meds have already started to accumulate. Many vet visits, hospitalization costs, etc.

I have no ego left. Everything I do I do for my children. I desperately need help. More specifically and importantly...my daughter Daphne desperately needs your help. I am begging you all for the help she needs. My family is not complete without her. She is just a baby.

I need help to get her the medical care she needs to survive. Thank you all.
