Help Us Save Byron's In Pomeroy

We are Friends of Byron, a committee organized to help Byron Stuart, the owner of Byron’s Bar – “The hipness center of the universe,” as musician Bruce Katz (Allman Brothers Band) puts it. Byron’s, in Pomeroy, Iowa, population 500, provides a magical and loving environment where musicians from all over the world come to perform for an enthusiastic, attentive audience.

Byron’s location was built in 1893 and it has seen better days. The city of Pomeroy would like Byron to move the bar to another building, but this is only possible if he can find the funds to purchase a better building. Friends of Byron started this GoFundMe to raise what is needed to guarantee that his uniquely great music venue will continue.

Will you help us? Our goal is to raise at least $100,000 dollars. It will cost at least this amount to obtain and renovate a suitable building. All proceeds go to Byron Stuart - 100%.
