Blaina Community Centre has been at the heart of our town for years – a place where people of all ages come together to learn, grow, support each other, and create lasting memories. From children's activities and youth clubs to community events, support groups, and vital services, we've always strived to be a warm, welcoming space for everyone.
But now, we need your help.
Why We’re Fundraising
Due to significant water damage earlier this year, we were forced to temporarily close parts of the centre, resulting in a major loss of income. Combined with the ever-increasing utility bills and the rising cost of maintaining an ageing building, we are now facing a critical point. Without urgent financial support, we may not be able to keep the centre open.
What the Funds Will Be Used For
• Covering essential utility bills (gas, electric, water)
• Helping with lost income during closure
• Ensuring we can continue offering vital services and support to our community
Why It Matters
Blaina Community Centre is more than just a building – it’s a lifeline for so many. For our young people, it’s a safe place to gather. For older residents, it’s a place to stay connected. For families, it’s a hub of support. Losing it would be a huge blow to our town.
How You Can Help
• Donate whatever you can – no amount is too small
• Share this fundraiser with friends, family, and on social media
• Organise or suggest a fundraiser on our behalf – every little bit help
The Impact of Your Support
Your contribution will directly enable us to continue providing services that benefit hundreds of local residents each month. This includes:
• Free or low-cost family activities
• Youth engagement programmes
• Elderly support and social groups
• Mental health and wellbeing initiatives
• Emergency community response during times of crisis
Together, we can ensure Blaina Community Centre remains open and continues to serve the amazing people of our community.
Thank you so much for your support.
