In the heart of Historic Barelas, we are weeks away from a new mural! Within the past few months, the property owner added additional layers of cinder block were added, to allow more space for the mural. Unfortunately a vehicle backed into the wall and damaged two sections. The Working Classroom is set to do the mural, it has taken years to get here. The Working Classroom is an organization that helps our youth learn life lessons through Creative Art. Boulders from CABQ are going to be installed asap so this doesn’t happen again. This wall is public facing to the recently revitalized Barelas Park. Situated between the Senior Center, Community Center, and the Zoo. We would greatly appreciate the support of the community, to make this project possible. Be a part of making our community beautiful!
