Mein Name ist Thomas Nalbach und ich habe fast acht Jahre in Tansania gelebt und gearbeitet. In dieser Zeit habe ich eng mit lokalen Gemeinschaften zusammengearbeitet und viele Menschen kennen und schätzen gelernt. Tansania ist für mich längst ein Stück Heimat geworden.
Warum mir das wichtig ist
In Songea, im Süden Tansanias, gibt es eine Gemeinschaft, die den nächsten Schritt gehen will:
Mit einer eigenen deutschen Wurstmaschine Arbeit schaffen, Lebensmittel herstellen und eine alte Tradition wiederbeleben.
Schon vor Jahrzehnten brachten Benediktiner-Missionare aus Deutschland das Wissen um Wurstherstellung nach Songea. Nun soll dieses Wissen in neuer Form wieder zum Leben erweckt werden.
Dieses Projekt liegt mir am Herzen, weil es nicht von außen aufgesetzt ist, sondern von den Menschen selbst ausgeht. Sie wollen mit eigener Arbeit ihre Gemeinschaft stärken und ich möchte sie dabei unterstützen.

4.700 € für die Maschine (Frey Oscar 20 L, neu, robust, mit Garantie)
0 € für Transport (mit Achelis nach Dar es Salaam)
150 € GoFundMe-Gebühren
300 € Reserve (Zoll)

Wie das Geld verwendet wird
Die Maschine wird in Deutschland gekauft und nach Tansania exportiert. Vor Ort übernimmt die Gemeinschaft den Betrieb und sorgt dafür, dass daraus Arbeit, Einkommen und bessere Ernährung entstehen. Jeder Beitrag fließt direkt in den Kauf, den Transport und die Inbetriebnahme der Maschine.
Mein Versprechen
Ich begleite das Projekt persönlich mit meiner Erfahrung und meinen Kontakten in Tansania. Ich werde transparent berichten, wohin das Geld geht, und die Fortschritte mit Fotos und Updates dokumentieren.
Jeder Euro hilft und jeder Beitrag bedeutet: mehr Würste in Songea, mehr Arbeit für junge Menschen, mehr Kinder mit einem vollen Teller.
Who I am
My name is Thomas Nalbach. I have spent almost eight years working in Tanzania. During this time, I worked closely with local communities and built strong relationships. Tanzania has become more than just a place of work for me. It feels like a second home.
Why this matters to me
In Songea, southern Tanzania, a community is ready to take the next step: with their own German sausage machine, they want to create jobs, produce food locally, and revive an old tradition. Decades ago, Benedictine missionaries from Germany brought the knowledge of sausage-making to Songea. Now this knowledge can be brought back to life in a modern way.
This project is close to my heart because it does not come from outside. It comes from the people themselves. They want to strengthen their community with their own work, and I want to support them in making this vision real.
What we are raising funds for

How the money will be used
The machine will be purchased in Germany and exported to Tanzania. On the ground, the community itself will operate the machine and turn it into jobs, income, and better nutrition. Every contribution goes directly into the purchase, transport, and setup of the machine.
My promise
I will personally accompany the project with my experience and my contacts in Tanzania. I will provide transparent updates on how the funds are used and share photos and reports of the progress.
Every euro helps and every contribution means: more sausages in Songea, more work for young people, and more children with a full plate.
