Hi, my name is Suzannah Palmer and I am the landlady of The Hean Castle Inn, Saundersfoot. I am trying to raise funds so we can pay for this years NYE display. You may be wondering why we are asking, and the facts are simple. For the last 24 years, The Chamber of Tourism have done a fantastic job of organizing our village events but sadly in February 2023 they stepped down and disbanded. As a consequence, no one including myself thought of the implications and nothing was organised, this included the NYE display. So November came and nothing was organised so I have taken the challenge and have manged to secure a professional firework company to do the display, the cost with insurance is £4600.00. I have asked all the pubs and restaurants to donate but obviously the more I can raise the better. Any funds left over will go for next years display so we aren't in this position again.
