Help Saulius live longer

Hello everyone, my name is Lina and I am posting this on behalf of my brother Saulius.

In February a terrible disaster struck our family, my brother Saulius, who is only 45 years old, fell ill with an aggressive form of stage 4 pancreatic cancer. They are starting him on pallative chemotherapy in the next few weeks and hopefully a trial drug, which early tests have shown, have helped people live longer.

The doctors are saying there is no chance of a full recovery but we still want to help keep him alive as long as possible, at the moment they have said that people with this type of cancer can live up to two years. We are currently going through the NHS at Barts Hospital and as amazing as they have been we want to do everything we possibly can to help him live as long as possible and do not want to accept the 2 years we have been given so far. We want to try get the expertise of several other specialists in the UK such as doctors at the Royal Marsden Hospital and Care Oncology Clinic. They are private and cost and so of course cost a lot of money, especially the medication the latter hospital offers.

Unfortunately our resources are running out and we need your help. Saulius is a house painter and as his job is physical and due to the type of cancer he has and where it's spread to, he hasn't been able to work since his diagnosis in February. His partner is also unable to work as she looks after him day to day and helps look after his two sons, one son who is at university and the other who is 15 years old.

Saulius buried his son's mother in December, as she tragically died of brain cancer. His youngest son also has congenital heart disease, so as you can imagine the last year has been excruciatingly difficult for his family and we don't want Saulius to have to stress about finances and providing for his boys, and we want to keep him around for as long as possible so need some help in raising money for his family and for consultations with private specialists.

We are doing everything to prolong his life as long as possible, but our money is running out and we want to ask good people, like yourselves, for help to support us with thoughts, prayers and some financial help to withstand this huge financial challenge during this difficult period.
