Hi! My name is Sarah Li and I am a Life Scout with Troop 333. As a part of

earning the Eagle Rank, I need to plan and lead a service project that has a lasting impact on the community.

For my project, I am leading an initiative called “Snuggle and Support Kits”

to benefit children who are temporarily placed at the El Monte Police Department due to family trauma, abuse, or neglect. These children are often removed from their homes suddenly, arriving with nothing of their own and facing an unfamiliar, frightening situation.

To help bring them comfort and dignity during this transition, I am assembling 1,500 care packages that will include

These kits will be stored at the police station and distributed by officers to children in need. My goal is to provide not just supplies, but also a small reminder that they are cared for and not alone, even in their darkest moments.

I’m raising funds to help purchase the supplies needed to complete these kits. Every donation, no matter the size, will directly support children in crisis and help me complete this youth-led service project.
