Help Sarah Samaniego Volunteer Abroad

Hi Everyone,

This summer I am planning on taking a very fun adventure that also includes community service in another country, Costa Rica. I am really excited! This is like nothing I have ever attempted and I will really be out of my comfort zone.

I'm planning to travel with Global Leadership Adventures - (www.experienceGLA.com) - an organization that specializes in educational and meaningful volunteer programs for high school students.

The 10 day trip will challenge me in many ways that I know will help me in future situations.  It will open my eyes to other cultures.  It will also help me continue my study of the spanish language which I have take 3 years now since junior high.

I will fly into Costa Rica August 1, 2015 and be placed in a beachside village to work with the children of the community in the classroom setting and teach soccer and help with service projects in the area.  This is really exciting to me since you know my love of the sport.   There will be many fun adventures to share with all of you when I return.

In the mean time, I'm in the process of trying to raise enough funds in order to travel abroad and do volunteer work.   My hope is to do this with your help and show my parents that I can set a goal and really make it happen!I would love your support!
