Sarah's Swing

We are raising money to fund an ADA approved wheelchair swing for a park in Hayden, Idaho in honor of Sarah Broden, longtime Hayden resident, and lover of parks, laughter, and all things fun.
We all know that feeling of freedom and exhilaration when swinging on a swing. It's one of those liberating joys that can't be explained, it needs to be experienced.
Sarah loved going to the park. She felt the joy of the kids and vicariously lived through their smiles and laughter. This is a very fitting tribute for her. I'm determined to see this happen.
I've received the green light of approval from the City of Hayden. They are finalizing a play area for a new park and Sarah's Swing will be included. The swing chosen will be determined by the amount of funds received, and if we are blessed enough to have an abundance, we will purchase swings for more parks. Heck - wouldn't it be neat for every city in America to have a Sarah Swing? Thank you for helping me honor such a beautiful friend that we lost way too early.
Sarah may have had physical limitations, but her spirit soared in spite of them. May Sarah's Swing, and the generosity required to make it a reality, serve as a reminder that we all have the option of choosing joy no matter our circumstances.
