Sarah is having a BABY GIRL!

 

Those who know Sarah know she has always dreamed of becoming a mom — and rightfully so; there is probably no one better equipped with the kind of love, kindness and humor required for the job. Her dream came true eight months ago when she made the brave, beautiful

choice to take this path without a partner. Of course, she and her baby girl will begin this next life chapter surrounded by love. It takes a village and Sarah’s village runs far and wide, from the steeps of the Tetons to Colorado’s Flat Irons; Colgate to Cardiff to Kansas, and beyond. She and her sweet girl will be surrounded by plenty of loving aunties and uncles at the ready to shower them in love and support.

 

As her friends, we promised we would make these first months as easy and supported as possible. Knowing there will be times she’ll need a helping hand beyond her friends and family, the amazing team of Doulas at the Santuray can fill the gaps. This group of devoted, loving women is versed in all areas of motherhood. They can guide Sarah through the trickier aspects of having a new baby, such as breastfeeding, eating well, nighttime support, and that extra set of hands that makes a shower or trip to the grocery store possible when there is an infant in tow. To that end, we’re asking for any amount you can contribute — truly, small, large, or the forgone latte — it all helps soften the edges and ensures Sarah and Baby Girl are taken care of in those moments we can’t be there.
