Our lovely Sarah has tragically and suddenly passed away from covid-19 earlier this month. She took care of us for over 11 years as our child minder and housekeeper. She was also the primary caregiver for 5 children, whom we would like to continue supporting. In South Africa, schools run by the government are subsidized, but not free. We wish to cover the school fees for the younger three children, a ten year old and eight year old twins, who will move to Johannesburg to live with Sarah's older brother and his wife, and also cover rent and school fees for the older children, ages 18 and 15 to live near us and continue in their currently excellent school situations. We also want to buy a computer for the 15 year old, who is a bright student, well loved by students and teachers in his school. We will have to cover what Sarah still owed for the children's school, particularly for the 18 year old, who will graduate soon, and must pay fees to get her graduation papers. We have contacted all the schools to find out these costs and added them together. $14,000 will cover this all until the end of 2022 -- but we will be happy with any donation to cover as much as possible.
