Hey! My name is Karla! May the Lord forgive me, as Sarah will hate me doing this!! But my heart aches for her. She’s my friend who has been through so much in the past years. She’ll say everyone has a tough time, so she doesn’t share her struggles openly, nor does she normally EVER ask for help.

She has always given her all to help others when she herself has been going through a lot!!! She has five adorable kids who she has managed to raise wonderfully whilst being a pillar of strength to all those around her who love her.

She works incredibly hard as a single Mother, and having known her since the late 00’s, I know she’d do anything for you! (sometimes at the detriment to her own resources, whether that time, energy, or gifting you from her own pocket).

This summer, Sarah took off with her three boys for a long awaited holiday in the West Country. She loved her car so much, and in previous years was happy to camp in it with her younger son whilst the boys were at church camp. She loved the long boot for that!

Sarah and her young boys were unfortunately involved in an incident where someone pulled in front of her as they were travelling on a high speed road over a long bridge. I won’t go into all the details, as Sarah has always had a very forgiving nature.

It was raining, and so her car swirved horrifically from one side of the bridge to another, hitting barrier after barrier. At one point Sarah and her twelve year old (sat in the passenger’s seat) thought they were going through the barrier and off the bridge. (you can see part of that barrier still stuck to her car)

Miraculously she and the boys were able to exit the car with minor injuries, cuts & bruises and were taken to hospital in an Ambulance. Though it’s possible Sarah may have broken a rib as she is still suffering with pain.

Sarah has had this car for years, and it’s become part of the family. She doesn’t have the ability to just buy another car of its quality, even with the small pay out from insurance.

We’ve been looking at cars for her online of around thousand pounds or so and are worried that she’ll end up with an unreliable car that turns into a money pit.

This go fund me isn’t for people who don’t know Sarah. (Although that would be incredibly generous!) Like she says “Everyone is struggling, I can’t ask for help!!” But I’m her friend, so I CAN! This is for those of you who know her, know her incredibly sacrificial heart and want to bless her and her kids by giving her the best shot at getting a replacement car. The more we can raise, the better and more reliable car she can get.

Even if we only raise a small amount, I know that it will go a very long way in her hands!
