I’m devastated to announce the very sudden death of my much loved sister Sarah. She was a wife and mother of 3 girls, Jessica 11, Katie 8 and Sadie just 1 year old.

The hospital told us she has sepsis, possibly from a unknown infection but so far the coroner has been unable to find a cause of death and they are at the final stage of testing, which could take months.

Joe also suffered a horrific accident a few months back where he fell through a roof and broke his neck and spine in 9 places and shattered his pelvis. He had to have an operation to piece it back together. This has left him with long term, life changing injuries which will mean looking after the children is a bit more difficult for him.

He also had another scare the weekend before Sarah passed where his throat swelled up from bilateral intratonsillar abscesses with epiglottisis.

He has really been through it and needs time to recover. Therefore anything I can do to help him or my lovely nieces I will but I live 45 minutes/an hour away so it’s not easy.

Therefore I’d like to raise funds towards absolutely anything that may make their lives easier during this time. Such as funeral costs, further baby proofing the house, sofa beds and things for family to stay and help, food, winter clothes, taxis as Joe cannot drive, Xmas presents, days out, anything at all that might help make their life easier during this awful time really.

We have been flooded with gorgeous flowers, which are very much appreciated but feel moving forward that money could be better spent on the children.

We are incredibly grateful for all of the support we have been offered and are just taking it a day at a time.
