My family and I live in Queensland and we've been friends with Sarah for 14+ years.
Sarah is not one to ask for help so we are doing it for her. She is very selfless and generous.
Sarah has been married for 16 years but has had troubles in her marriage for the last few years. Things got bad with her husband a couple years ago and they spent some time apart and then reunited. Sadly, it didn't take long before issues arose again and for the last year Sarah has been looking after the children alone with hardly any support. She has done EVERYTHING she can to reconcile with her husband but he has completely abandoned her.
She has children that need to be home schooled so she is trying to teach them, look after them all and she's having to leave them at home while she works part-time to support them. Nothing has been sorted out between Sarah and her husband so she is receiving little financial support - from him or the government. They are just scraping by from week to week.
With a broken heart, Sarah has reached a point where she and her lovely children need to relocate and start a new life, not because she has given up on her husband, (she will continue to pray for him) but because he has neglected them. I'm sharing this as a women who firmly believes in the commitment of marriage for life. It grieves me that it's come to this but I don't know of anyone who would stay faithful and committed with what she has had to go through. Sarah's not just 'moving on' like most do in this situation. She is an amazing lady, so faithful and committed to the Lord. She is an inspiration and a wonderful example of a faithful wife in these circumstances.
It's a very challenging situation to be in but she's still trying to stick by her husband. She and the children pray for him daily and obviously she prays for him all through the day on her own, and she would appreciate others praying for him too.
They are hoping to move by the end of the year so if you, or anyone you know, can help them get on their feet please donate to them or share it with others, every little bit counts. If you can pray for her and give her some words of encouragement and that would be a big blessing too!
This fund is not only to help them move, but travel from Victoria, get their car serviced, find a house to rent and pay the bond and to give her a bit of a break.
Thank you very, very much in advance.
PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH OTHERS!
A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO HELPING SARAH, SHE REALLY APPRECIATES IT!
