My name is Sara Alicia Huerta Long and I've been Berning since August of 2015 and never stopped. I started by chalking on the sidewalk in our capitol city where I met the volunteers who made up Lansing for Bernie, who soon became friends and family.  After dropping out of school to leave my home state of MI to volunteer for Bernie in other states I was hired by the campaign to run an office in Reading, PA. After being laid off with the rest of the 4/26 state staffers I continued fighting the good fight in New Jersey, running the Camden county office as a volunteer. Beyond representing my communities as a proud bi Latina and daughter of a founding PATCO union member, I have also been working with the African American and Deaf communities. I want to make sure that every community continues to be active on the local level.

Since I quit my job in January and was only hired by the campaign for a brief period before the PA primary, my funds are quite low. I am appreciative of whatever support I can get in order to make it back to Pennsylvania in time for the convention, and vow to continue to do all I can to ensure that Bernie Sanders becomes our president.

Any left over money I receive and don't need for the hotel and travel expenses will be donated to Tim Canova's campaign. Bye Debbie.
