Sandy Crawford Memorial Run for Lung Health
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm once again raising money to benefit the Canadian Lung Association, in recognition of my father Sandy - and any donation will help make an impact!
Since Dad's diagnosis in 2021, together our friends and family have raised nearly $30,000 for lung health in Canada - and we're only getting started.
This fall - actually in less than three weeks! - I will once again be lacing up + running the Ottawa Fall Colours Marathon on Sunday, October 8th, with the goal of raising $10,000+ for lung health in Canada.
We've set this funding target with Dad in mind - as anyone who knew him, the man embraced any occasion to celebrate. In honour of how he approached life, we'd like to propose a collective funding target for this year that recognizes a major milestone - Dad's 40th year as a Father - and would allow us to collectively exceed the $40,000 mark!
Please consider making a contribution to support vital work the Canadian Lung Association leads on, promoting lung health, while helping to prevent + manage lung disease across this country. They provide vital research funding, push for improved treatments, smarter policies, and support for patients across a wide range of diseases - including IPF, COPD, Asthma, COVID-19, and Lung Cancer.
Any contribution is welcome + appreciated!
