In early December 2017,  it was discovered that Sandra had gallstones and due to complications she underwent emergency surgery.  Her gallbladder was removed but unfortunately, the surgeons discovered another problem. Her gallbladder contained tumors. Upon further testing, doctors found that the cancer had spread to her liver and spine. She recently underwent radiation treatments and has now started chemotherapy. 
     Sandra has nutured children for over 20 years and due to this illness, she lost her job and subsequently, her health insurance.  She now spends her time developing  her new business Jones Crafts 'n' More and has created a spanish tutoring service to try to help replace some of her lost income and benefits.  However, as a start-up, she is just beginning to bring in revenue. She still doesnt make enough to reapply for health insurance. Your generous gift will help cover the cost of medical expenses and other bills that have accumulated. No amount is too small.
