Sam's Walk - a woodland experience in the heart of Aldham

Donation protected
Roger here.
I'm raising funds on behalf of the residents of the ancient village of Aldham, Essex.
A local farmer has kindly donated a small copse in the centre of the village for use as a woodland walk, open to all. Sam's Walk is named after his much loved old labrador.
Our policy is for the copse to remain as it is - all dead wood and wood cleared for fencing to remain on site; rotting wood left to rot; small saplings protected and watered; paths moved around trees, not trees moved for paths.
We need funds to fence and gate it; get some trees topped that are in danger of falling on the village hall; a dispenser for free dog poo bags and nesting boxes.
Volunteers have made a good start clearing the undergrowth for the fence and paths but we now need funds to move forward.
Our village is tiny, (200 houses) and we have managed to raise £500 but we need a lot more to finish the project. Please help. Those who donate a £100 or more, if they wish, will be added to a plaque of donors on the front gate. Thank you.
